The agreement for using ThriftFlow — short, and in plain language.

These terms cover your use of the ThriftFlow point-of-sale service. Using ThriftFlow means you agree to them. If you're agreeing on behalf of a store, you confirm you're allowed to.
ThriftFlow is managed point-of-sale and back-office software delivered over the internet, with each store's data kept in its own separate database. We provide the software, hosting, backups, and support; you provide accurate account information and use the service lawfully.
ThriftFlow records sales, refunds, discounts, and donations, but it is not a payment processor. Card payments are authorized by your card terminal or online payment provider under your own merchant agreement with them. You're responsible for your tax collection, remittance, and reporting; ThriftFlow's reports are a tool to help, not tax advice.
We work to keep the service available and back up your data nightly, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is scheduled for quiet hours where possible. If something breaks, tell us and we'll work to fix it quickly.
Your store's data is yours. You can export it, and if you leave, we'll help you take it with you. How we safeguard it is covered in the Privacy Policy and Data & Security pages.
ThriftFlow is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the prior three months. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
We may update these terms; material changes will be dated above and significant ones flagged to store owners. Either side can end the arrangement with reasonable notice — on the way out, you get your data and we delete our copies per our retention schedule.
